Lauren & Andrew: A Wedding at Oak Hill Country Club

Lauren Dunne and Andrew Bognaski tied the knot with an intimate ceremony and wedding at the always-gorgeous Oak Hill Country Club on May 1st, 2021.

When Lauren and Andrew began their courtship in college, they could have never foreseen the whirlwind they would eventually experience when it came to planning their future wedding.

They met in the blissful days of college and continued their relationship long-distance after graduation. Despite the challenges of long-distance, Lauren and Andrew shared the same desire to be together long term.

When Andrew surprised Lauren with a trip to Saratoga, Lauren didn’t think of anything but what a wonderful idea it had been. Little did she know, Andrew had conspired with her father to make their Saratoga trip the most memorable one yet! While visiting a lovely local park, Andrew dropped to one knee and popped the question, completely dazzling his lovely future bride in the best of ways. Lauren recalls that the entire experience was filled with special elements that she would have never expected!

Come wedding planning time, Lauren and Andrew were faced with the ultimate Goliath: the Covid-19 Pandemic. It seemed like they could never catch a break, running into obstacle after obstacle and ultimately rescheduling their nuptials a whopping four times! This is a testament to their love, as they stuck ever-closer together and persevered as a team to finally reward themselves with the intimate, stunning wedding ceremony they always deserved!

With their new perspective on what’s really important in the big moments of our lives, Lauren shared prior to their ceremony, “we both just want it to be a fun and relaxed day”. Fun and relaxed, indeed! Lauren’s bridesmaids primped at the luxurious Spa at the Del Monte, while Andrew and his groomsmen took it easy at Lauren and Andrew’s apartment prior to the I-do’s. Then they all came together in a vision of navy and baby blues, light grays and soft pinks to ultimately usher Lauren and Andrew into their wonderful new life as one.
